The Executive Board has been monitoring the situation in Madison pertaining to the elimination of the “Collective Bargaining” and the increases in retirement and health insurance contributions. The best advice that the Board can give you at the present time is that every one keep themselves informed as much as possible by watching the news and talking with your fellow staff at your buildings. As a union we strongly oppose the Walker Budget Repair Bill but we will leave it up to every individual to do what they feel is right for themselves. The Board is also in communication with the KEA, the Secretary’s union and also with our legal council to see what our future legal options will be.
